How to Measure Ring Size
For precise sizing, we recommend a ring mandrel—a tapered rod marked with sizes—to measure an existing ring worn on the same finger. Alternatively, a finger-sizing tool, typically a set of graduated rings, can be used directly on the finger to determine the ideal size.

Make Your Own Ring Sizer
For the most accurate results, we recommend professional sizing whenever possible—but this method offers a helpful starting point from the comfort of home.
1. Cut a piece of string, floss, thin paper, or yarn at least 3 inches in length.
2. Gently wrap it around the base of your finger for a comfortable yet snug fit.
3. Mark where the end of the string overlaps.
4. Lay the string flat and measure from the end to your mark using a rule.

Your rings should fit comfortably, not too tight, but not too loose, either. It should be loose enough to slide over your knuckle and tight enough so that it can’t fall off your finger.
1. Be sure that your fingers are warm; cold can shrink fingers up to a half size
2. Measure your fingers at the end of the day when they’re largest
3. Measure your finger size a few times to make sure it’s accurate
4. If the measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger size
5. Be sure to measure the finger on which you’ll be wearing the ring

How Should a Ring Fit?
When it comes to selecting the perfect ring, finding your correct size is crucial. Whether you’re shopping for an engagement ring, wedding band, or fashion piece, a proper fit ensures comfort and prevents loss. An ill-fitting ring can slip off unexpectedly or cause discomfort if too tight. By taking the time to determine your accurate ring size, you set yourself up for success in choosing a ring you’ll love wearing.
A well-sized ring should glide effortlessly over the knuckle with gentle resistance and rest securely on the finger with a comfortable snugness. It should never feel tight or require force to remove.
